Yes. Our lawn care programs are fully customizable. While we recommend a minimum of three seasonal applications for the best long-term results, you can choose the combination of fertilizer, weed control, insect control, lime, aeration, overseeding, and hydroseeding services that best fit your lawn and your goals.
Unfortunately, there are currently no selective lawn products approved for residential use in Ontario that effectively control crabgrass without also damaging the rest of your lawn. The best defense is maintaining a thick, healthy lawn through proper fertilization, mowing, and overseeding to reduce the opportunity for crabgrass to establish.
No. As long as we have access to the areas being treated and any gates are unlocked, our technician can complete your application while you're away. We'll email you a service notice with any important information after each visit.
Yes, though we recommend keeping children and pets off the lawn until the spray applications have completely dried, for maximum effectiveness. Our office will always provide any specific instructions following your treatment.
Most of our treatments are designed with normal weather in mind, and light rainfall is often beneficial. If weather conditions affect the performance of a particular application, we'll assess the situation and determine whether any follow-up service is required.
Not always. Different weeds respond differently to treatment, and some may require multiple applications or seasonal control. A consistent lawn care program provides the best long-term results by controlling existing weeds while preventing new ones from taking hold.

Unfortunately, no. We use professional-grade products that are applied by our trained technicians as part of our lawn care programs. This allows us to ensure the correct products are applied at the proper rates and at the right time throughout the season.
We do not currently offer mole or vole control services. However, if lawn damage is being caused by grubs or other insects beneath the soil, our insect control treatments can help reduce the food source that often attracts these pests.
Established lawns: Water deeply when needed, aiming for about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of water per week, including rainfall. Deep, scheduled watering encourages stronger root growth.
Newly seeded or overseeded lawns: Keep the soil consistently moist until the seed germinates. This usually means light watering once or twice a day, depending on temperatures and weather conditions.
Hydroseeded lawns: Hydroseed should never be allowed to dry out during establishment. Frequent, light watering—often 2–3 times per day during hot, dry weather—helps ensure successful germination.
